South Korean financial technology company Koscom is preparing to showcase its shared tokenized securities platform at Korea Fintech Week 2026 as the country moves closer to introducing new regulations for blockchain-based securities.
The event will take place from November 25 to 27 at Seoul’s AT Center in Yangjae and will be organized by the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
According to Yonhap News Agency’s October 13 report, Koscom will demonstrate infrastructure designed to support securities issuance, account management, and connections between financial systems.
The platform aims to provide participating securities firms with shared technology for developing and managing tokenized securities services.
Koscom has completed the joint development of its securities issuance infrastructure with LG CNS. It has also tested the system through the Korea Securities Depository’s token securities volume management testbed.
During the exhibition, the company will present its development experience, testing results, and cooperation with financial institutions preparing to enter the market.
The initiative comes as South Korea prepares to implement its new tokenized securities regulatory framework on February 4, 2027.
The FSC has proposed amendments covering the issuance and trading of tokenized stocks, bonds, funds, and fractional investment products. Public consultation began on October 2 and will continue through November 11.
South Korean Brokerages Expand Blockchain Securities Initiatives
Financial institutions across South Korea are developing blockchain-based systems as they prepare for the upcoming regulatory changes. These projects cover tokenized investment products, digital asset infrastructure, and settlement services.
In September, Hanwha Investment & Securities completed a tokenized securities platform supporting Avalanche and Hyperledger Besu. The brokerage began developing the system with FairSquare Lab in 2025.
KB Securities has partnered with Securitize and the Optimism Foundation to develop tokenized investment funds for institutional clients. Their initial project involves a proposed money market fund on OP Mainnet, focusing on infrastructure for institutional fund tokenization.
Eugene Investment & Securities has also signed an agreement with BEATOZ to test stablecoin settlement for tokenized securities subscriptions.
The project will examine subscription, payment, and settlement processes through a connected blockchain system. Eugene previously developed its tokenized securities platform in 2024 and joined a Korea Securities Depository pilot in 2025.
Meanwhile, Meritz Securities is working with Ripple to explore institutional digital asset custody and tokenization infrastructure within existing regulations. LG CNS has also signed an October agreement with Securitize covering tokenization technology and institutional digital asset services.
These developments indicate growing efforts among financial institutions to establish the technology needed for the expanding tokenized securities market.
Koscom Adds AI Stock Analysis and Fintech Support Services
Beyond blockchain infrastructure, Koscom will introduce artificial intelligence (AI) and fintech support services at Korea Fintech Week 2026.
One of the main demonstrations will be K-EFS, an AI-powered stock prediction score service for the Korean market developed with LG AI Research.
The company will also provide consultations on financial cloud support programs designed for fintech businesses. In addition, it will introduce the D-Testbed initiative, which helps financial technology companies test and develop their solutions.
By presenting these services alongside its shared tokenized securities platform, Koscom aims to highlight its broader role in South Korea’s financial technology sector.
Its exhibition will focus on blockchain infrastructure, AI-based financial analysis, and support for fintech innovation as the industry prepares for the regulatory changes expected in February 2027.
