Robinhood reported $100 million in Q2 crypto transaction revenue surpassing the $8.6 million despite a 38% fall.

Furthermore, Robinhood also reported a total net revenue increasing over 32% to $1.31 billion and fully adjusted earnings per share, increasing approximately 48% to $0.62.

The outcomes reflected that Robinhood’s wider business operations maintained to increase despite weaker crypto trading, with earns in trading instruments, equities, and blockchain strategies backing overall performance.

Crypto Forecasts

Projections were low, after a 47% fall in crypto revenue to $134 million in Q1. Crypto revenue decreased by 25% further from A1 levels due to weaker trading activity.

Robinhood’s crypto trading transactions decreased by 35% to $18 billion, while Bitstamp added $22 billion, integrating crypto trading transactions to $40 billion.

The wider market is still weak, with Bitcoin trading roughly $63,559 over 46% lower than the previous year.

Robinhood launched the crypto-bsed earnings week, with Coinbase and Strategy set to report outcomes on July 23.

Projected Market Growth

Transaction revenue raised about 44% to $776 million, supported by strong growth in event contract, which gained $156 million over 10 times from the previous year.

Options revenue also increased by 29% to $324 million, while equities revenue closely doubled to $129 million.

Currently, crypto accounts have less than 8% of total revenue, decreases due to key growth drivers from the past two years.

Robinhood’s user remains to expand, with funded customers aiming 28.4 million and Robinhood Gold subscribers reaching a record of over 4.8 million.

Robinhood Declines After Hours

Robinhood reported last July 29 a share over $89.84 down to 3.15% and declined further to $87.00 after-hours trading.

Earnings quality increased concerns, as the $0.62 adjusted EPS covered $0.14 from earnings linked to the deconsolidation of Robinhood Ventures Fund I.

The management remains to invest in crypto, with the quarter demonstrating the public mainnet launch of Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 system structured for tokenized real-world assets.

Robinhood Chain has generated engagements, with application fees aiming for $25 million this July.

The company also introduced Robinhood Earn, as the first on-chain lending product, expanded stock tokens across 120 counties and completed its acquisition of WonderFi.

Meanwhile, Robinhood also reported its initiative to launch crypto services in the United Kingdom.

Robinhood decreased its 2026 adjusted operating expense and share compensation to over $2.675 billion to $2.775 billion.

Thus, Robinhood’s share price may have less influence on crypto performance and focus on whether event contract growth remains at its present pace.
