Bitcoin’s latest rally reaching $78,000 level opens the door for a big growth marker of $16 trillion by 2030, research says.
Ark Invest (ARK) reports in market research that Bitcoin (BTC) is seen likely to dominate the market capitalization for cryptocurrencies, increasing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 63% during the next five years, from nearly $2 trillion to $16 trillion by 2030.
“Bitcoin is maturing as the leader of a new institutional asset class”, ARK says, highlighting the digital asset’s market command, even with the expected drop in view of rapid adoption of stablecoins in developing nations.
What Fuels the BTC Rocket
The recent spike of BTC lies in many market influences – one being the political aspect.
Incoming U.S. Federal Reserve chair Kevin Warsh declares in a testimony before the Senate Banking Committee that BTC is the “new gold” of our times.
Additionally, traders are showing more confidence in the crypto market as bill makers push for limited regulation of cryptocurrencies.
