American Bitcoin Corporation increased its Bitcoin holdings to approximately 8,000 BTC following a record quarterly mining outcomes, backed by higher production, increased profit, and lessen losses amid a weak crypto market.

The Hut 8-owned company reported holding over 8,002 BTC or 14% from the past quarter. During the peak, American Bitcoin mined a record 932 BTC, increased mining profit to $67 million, and lessen its net loss to $57.2 million from $81.8 million.

Mining Growth and Bitcoin Accumulation Strategy

American Bitcoin mined a record over 932 BTC in the quarter, accounting for 26% of its total Bitcoin output. Bitcoin per share increased by 11% to 10,989 satoshis, while over 3,090 BTC kept pledged as collateral for BITMAN financing.

The company also activated 11,298 next-generation miners in April, increasing its hashrate by 3.05 EH/s. By quarter-end, it increased to 89,242 miners with a total capacity of 28.1 EH/s.

CEO Mike Ho noted that the strong quarter strengthen the company’s future move of expanding its Bitcoin treasury through mining operations than depending on market acquisitions. American Bitcoin has placed mining as a key driver of its long-term Bitcoin accumulation model, targeting to earn BTC at competitive costs while expanding shareholder exposure to the asset.

Financial Outcomes and Operating Costs

Mining revenue increased roughly 8% to 67 million, while profit per Bitcoin mined declined 5% compared to Bitcoin’s 12% average price fall. American Bitcoin maintained a gross margin over 50%, covering improved operational efficiency and cost controls.

Meanwhile, operating costs increased gradually, while Bitcoin production costs remained near $36,500 per BTC. The company lessened its net loss enhanced to $57.2 million and adjusted EBITDA loss declined to $45 million. The outcomes also reflected the company’s 1-for-15 reverse stock split completed in July.

Public Listing and Market Challenges

American Bitcoin started trading on Nasdaq in September 2025 following merging with Gryphon Digital Mining. The transaction enabled American Bitcoin to become a publicly traded Bitcoin mining and treasury network while keeping its collaboration with Hut 8.

American Bitcoin performances arise as Bitcoin miners experience difficult conditions, such as higher competition, network difficulty increases, and fluctuations in Bitcoin prices. Although operational growth, mining companies maintain under pressure as Bitcoin price volatility directly influences profit and the value of digital asset holdings.

Overall, American Bitcoin’s move integrates large-scale mining expansion with Bitcoin accumulation, targeting to develop a long-term digital asset treasury while enhancing production efficiency.
