Currency Payouts for Content Creators
Tech giant Meta rolled out digital currency payouts using the stablecoin USDC for content creators on its platforms for pilot regions of Columbia and the Philippines.
According to Meta’s website, USDC stablecoin payouts are done through supported cypto wallets on the Solana and Polygon blockchain networks.
Use of USDC Wallet Addresses
Creators who opt for the stablecoin payout will be prompted to enter their USDC wallet address into their Facebook’s payout account.
“We strive to offer the most relevant payment methods, which is why we are exploring how stablecoins could become part of our suite of options,” a Meta spokesperson said in a media report.
